Flight Explore

What a fun week we have had learning all about FLIGHT!  We have especially used our perseverance skills to have a go at making a variety of flying things.  We have made darts and then worked on testing and improving them. We have made paper helicopter, straw rockets and straw planes.  We have also used the mobilo, lego. blocks and rods set to create things that fly.
Zach brought in his cool flying helicopter that he kindly shared with others to show us how helicopters use their rotors to fly.

Pirate Explore

Ahoy me hearties!! We have had an awesome week doing everything to do with pirates. We have made pirate treasure chests, pirate hats and pirate masks. We created pirate ships with upside down tables and have drawn treasure maps with an X marks the spot. We have made planks with blocks to walk along and used chalk to draw ships and maps. We also made boats and dug for treasure under the trees.
