We looked at different types of boats, especially some of the boats that are in the Olympics.  We used different equipment to build our boats and then shared and discussed these with our classmates.

This week we learnt about Healthy Eating in Explore. The kids had some great discussions around what is healthy and what is not! Here are some photos of us working at our activities.

PET Explore

Lots of amazing learning happening at Explore Time today!! So much fantastic teamwork building dog kennels, some children even made pretend food and water for the dog!! More great teamwork with the blocks and tubes, building homes for different pets. We discovered that all pets need different types of homes!! Super imagination with the mobilo with Caleb and Alex making a happy and sad dog depending on how their ears looked. Zahra and Kiara drew some fabulous pictures of what pets need to survive!! 

EXPLORE Pets

Lots of great activities happening related to pets today! Some great pet ideas with the mobilo, lots of cooperation when working with the rod and ball sets to make a dog kennel and Connor A having a go at matching the pet homes with the pets!!
